As a Principal Software Engineer based out of Boston, MA, I lead the development and delivery of complex software solutions, guiding teams through all stages, from project discovery and defining requirements to application design and deployment. My roles involve hands-on engagement with a focus on optimizing processes and driving innovation.
With over a decade of experience, I have a deep expertise across the software development lifecycle, specializing in full-stack and mobile development. I have worked extensively with technologies across the stack including React, TypeScript, AWS, and Azure, successfully leading projects across multiple industries.

athenaHealth
At athenaHealth I work on the Collector UX Frameworks team, building reusable components & features for athenaOne – their flagship product – and guiding frontend standards across the internal React ecosystem.

Outcomes4Me
Outcomes4Me is a startup for cancer patients. I scaled the product from 1 to N, allowing the clinical team to deliver to not just Breast Cancer patients, but patients of any disease.
As well as mentoring the engineering team, I rewrote their React Native app to modern Typescript and updated backend best practices to be data & rules-driven rather than to use hard-coded logic.

Rightpoint
At Rightpoint I grew from a Senior Engineer leading small frontend teams to a Software Architect planning and leading large full stack initiatives from 0-to-1 and beyond. Projects included Pelotonia, Sanofi, and Pear Therapeutics.

Pelotonia
While at Rightpoint from 2020 to 2021 I led the frontend team on a full rewrite of Pelotonia, a cancer fundraising program. My team re-platformed a legacy PHP site to Next.js and a .Net middleware. I led the frontend portion of the project but contributed full-stack. This site still raises millions of dollars a year for cancer research.

Pear Therapeutics
While at Rightpoint from 2018 to 2020 I worked with Pear on their app THRIVE. It was a React Native app with a Node.js backend. PearTx was known for launching the first FDA approved Digital Therapeutic in the App Store.

Sanofi
When Sanofi and Abbott partnered in 2019 to create a glucose monitoring system, Rightpoint was contracted to build both a mobile app and web portal for the glucose monitoring device. I built the portion of the Angular frontend for clinicians to define alerts and health metrics.

StudyDAT
From 2017 to 2018 I led the tech side of an EdTech startup aimed at helping College students get into Dental school with a collaborative learning platform. As the founding engineer, it was a great opportunity to grow skills in React, Python, and AWS.

Seniorlink
From 2016 to 2017 I worked at Seniorlink on the Vela Project. I built a HIPAA compliant, Golang-backed, Ember.js admin portal to manage Seniorlink’s care teams and patients. As one of the company’s first Data Engineers I built the first rules engine on the Vela data platform.

AppBlade
Starting as an internal tool, AppBlade became a combination User Testing, Crash Reporting, and Mobile Device Management Tool and was marketed as a standalone product. After leaving Raizlabs I was contracted to maintain the native Android and iOS SDKs as well as develop the Ruby on Rails backend.

Raizlabs
Fresh out of school, I joined the a Mobile Software consulting agency based out of Boston. I develop a passion for software products by building the first native Android and iOS Apps, including clients like Rue La La, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s.
